The Marion County DUI court program is a partnership with the Salvation Army Corrections, West Central Florida Driving Improvement, Office of the State Attorney, and the Public Defender’s Office, and is presided over by Judge Sarah Ritterhoff Williams.

DUI Court is structured to provide repeat DUI offenders with intense outpatient treatment while on supervised probation. Additionally, the offender’s compliance and progress will be monitored by the Court through regular court appearances before the Presiding Judge.

After entering a plea to the charge of DUI, the offender will be placed on probation for a period of one year. During probation, the offender will be expected to comply with the statutory requirements pursuant to Florida Statutes 316.193 and 322.28.

Additionally, the offender must complete all phases of DUI Court.

An initial $35.00 Application/Assessment Fee and $50.00 weekly program fees are required. These fees are to be made payable in the form of a money order made out to:
The Marion County BOCC.

Additional fees are charged by:
West Central Florida Driving Improvement
and other treatment providers.
