Observations for Mediators in Training

The Fifth Judicial Circuit offers observations and co-mediation opportunities for individuals enrolled in a Florida approved mediator certification program for county, family, and dependency. To request observation/co-mediation dates, submit an Observation Request Form to MaryAnn Aiyer, ADR Director, at maiyer@circuit5.org.

Contract Mediators for Family and Dependency

Volunteer Mediators for Small Claims and County Civil

County mediations within the Fifth Judicial Circuit are provided by volunteer certified county mediators. For more information or to submit an application, contact MaryAnn Aiyer, ADR Director, maiyer@circuit5.org.  Fingerprinting and background check will be completed at no cost to selected volunteers.

Parenting Coordination

Parenting Coordination is a child-focused alternative dispute resolution process which assists high conflict parents to resolve their conflicts regarding their children. For additional information, contact MaryAnn Aiyer, ADR Director, maiyer@circuit5.org.

Eldercare Coordination

Eldercare Coordination provides assistance for high conflict cases involving issues related to the care and needs of elders. Cases are referred to this program by the judge. Contact MaryAnn Aiyer, ADR Director, at maiyer@circuit5.org for additional information.

Arbitration

Arbitration is a dispute resolution process where a neutral person (or panel) considers the facts of the case and the arguments of the parties before making a decision. The ADR Director maintains a list of arbitrators.
