Under the leadership and supervision of Circuit Judge S. Sue Robbins via Magistrate Brenda Coleman, Marion County Court Administration provides a program for Juvenile Dependency related cases.
The Marion County Dependency Drug Court is a partnership between the Courts, The Centers, Department of Children and Families, Guardian Ad Litem Program, Kids Central, Inc. Defense attorneys, The Centers, Perspectives and other social service programs. The Dependency Drug Court is designed to get involved in the lives of addicted parents with substance abuse treatment. Court monitoring and other resources needed to ensure permanent lifestyle change will hopefully assist in the reunification of parents with their children.
The cost for the program is a $40.00 monthly fee. All payments shall be made by money orders payable to Marion County BOCC.
