Civil Case Management
Effective July 1, 2018, all cases previously assigned to the Fifth Circuit Backlog Foreclosure Program have been reassigned to a Circuit Judge in the county where the case was filed. (See Administrative Order A-2018-20).
Adult Felony Drug Court

Mental Health Court
Mental Health Court is a specialized court docket for defendants with mental disabilities that substitutes traditional court processing with a problem-solving model.
Mediation has become very prevalent and very popular in the judicial system within the past few years. It has been very helpful in resolving differences between parties, and in reducing the number of cases going to trial.
Our circuit provides resources for self-represented parties in domestic relations cases. In all counties resources are available online or at the local clerk’s office.
The Teen Court concept is based on the philosophy that youthful offenders will not continue to offend when a jury of their peers punishes them.
